Bio Hub Privacy Policy
1. Three roles, not one
This product involves three different people, and this policy is written to keep them straight, because who is responsible for what data changes depending on which one you are:
LynkTrails ("we") — LynkTrails is a product of Cynosure Infotech, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, who builds and licenses the Service.
The Customer ("you") — the person or business who installs LynkTrails Server and/or Bio Hub on their own WordPress site and creates links, pages, and content with it.
End visitors — the people who click a Customer's shortened links, or visit and interact with a Customer's bio page.
For data belonging to end visitors, the Customer is the data controller and we act as a data processor on the Customer's behalf. If you are an end visitor with a privacy question about a specific page, contact the person who runs that page, not us.
2. What we collect from Customers
Account/license data: name, email, license key, the site URL(s) your license is activated on, and your assigned plan.
Billing data: processed by our payment gateway or by the marketplace you purchased through — we do not store full card numbers.
Usage/entitlement data: which features and limits your plan grants, and aggregate usage.
Support communications: anything you send us via a support ticket or email.
Bio page data: your page content, blocks, and design settings, and — if your license includes server-hosted pages — the rendered page content stored on our infrastructure.
3. What we collect on behalf of Customers (end-visitor data)
If you (the Customer) enable these features, the following data about your visitors may be collected, and is yours to manage:
Analytics: page views, link clicks, referrer, device/browser type, and — with location analytics enabled — an approximate country/city/network derived from IP address, retained per your plan's configured retention window (0 = indefinite unless you delete it) and purged automatically after.
Lead capture: email and/or phone numbers submitted through a capture block you added.
Purchases: processed directly by your configured gateway — we receive transaction confirmation, not full card details.
Instagram DM automation: messages and account identifiers needed to send automated DMs via the Instagram/Meta API, under your connected account.
You are responsible for having your own privacy notice on your bio page telling your visitors what you collect.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Service may use cookies or local storage for signing you into WordPress admin, remembering builder preferences, and (if you enable analytics or AdSense) tracking required by those features. Where you enable Google AdSense, Google's own cookie and data practices apply to that ad inventory.
5. How we use data
To provide and secure the Service, verify licenses and enforce plan entitlements, provide support, improve the product, detect abuse/fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell Customer or end-visitor personal data.
6. Sharing and third parties
We share data only as needed: payment processors you configure; marketplaces (JVZoo, LaunchpadJV) for order/refund reconciliation; email/communication providers you connect; Instagram/Meta if you enable DM automation; our own infrastructure service providers; and as required by law.
7. Data retention
Account/license data is retained while your license is active plus a reasonable period after for legal, tax, and support-history purposes. End-visitor analytics data follows your configured retention setting and is purged automatically. Bio page content is retained until you delete it or your account is deleted.
8. Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these as a Customer, contact us at support@biohub.lynktrails.com. As an end visitor, contact the Customer whose page you interacted with — we assist them with your request if needed.
9. International data transfers
Our infrastructure may process or store data outside India depending on our hosting providers. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect data transferred internationally.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). Bio Hub includes an optional sensitive-content gate a Customer can enable for age-restricted content.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
